This is a story about the migration of my grandfather (Chee Kuang Yao). He is originated from Fujian, China and migrated to North Borneo where now is called Sabah in Malaysia. The story shows the hardship he has been through and finally settles down in this place. Some of the story and information about my grandfather is being told by my father and some parts are from the findings through research.
This motion graphic project is done under Multimedia Design Studio 1(MMD4001) unit, Master of Multimedia Design, Monash University.
This project uses Cinema 4D, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
